Multimedia is a collection of media put together in a way. It’s all put together to provide an experience for the user. Multimedia is a combination of various media to provide information, entertainment, or a means of communication. Multimedia is taking media, videos, photos, texts, and audio, etc., and combining it into an interactive experience for the user/viewer. The combination of media provides an interactive experience to captivate the viewer to provide the best experience for the viewer.


An essential feature of Multimedia is that it provides a way to display information using various mediums at once. For example, YouTube videos, a form of Multimedia, provide a way to use texts, images, audio, and videos to provide the best experience for users/viewers. Movies, video games, and interactive experiences like virtual reality are examples of Multimedia providing a wonderful experience for users/viewers.


Multimedia, like any other technology, has changed over time with the advancement of technology. Multimedia today provides better interactive experiences with in-depth experiences for users/viewers. The change in Multimedia is a testament to what Multimedia is created for and how it changes the way users interact with it. Multimedia has changed the way users interact with the digital world.

Step 1   Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 4 Step 5 Final Product I started this project by downloading the happy birthday png and opening it with photoshop. I used the eyedropper tool to select the six primary rainbow colors from the happy birthday image, and saved them as swatches in a folder titled "Ezra". With these colors, I created a 3 color radial gradient with magenta, cyan and yellow titled "Ezra Gradient", and put it in the background of the happy birthday. I then created a brush using the "Splatter ktw 3 1" brush setting and making the spacing 20%. I used dark purple, green and cyan from my custom swatch folder and pained aesthetic lines in front of the gradient but behind the happy birthday image. I then created three shapes, a hexagon, rectangle and triangle. (MP2) Project 5B: AP Flyer Artboard

Desktop   Instagram Phone Phone Firstly, I had the idea to do a classroom, and display all of the APs on the chalkboard. I went onto google and found a cartoonish classroom with a large chalkboard to fit all of the classes there. The next thing I did was add the title “AP Fair” to the chalkboard, and convert text to shape and free transform path for each letter to put it into a curved pattern. Then I added a white rectangle on the bookcase to serve as the base for a little blurb of text describing what APs I am taking next year. Following that, I added the date and time of the fair in red, so that the color would contrast with the off-white background and be easier to see. I then artificially extended the chalkboard below by making a new, mini chalkboard, which I put the additional information regarding the fair. (MP3) Project 7: Blending Modes

                                        I started this project out by using a picture of a landscape from my recent ASR trip to Frost Valley. I then resized the canvas size (Image -> Canvas Size), and resized it from a 5x7 to a 7x5 ratio. I resized the image to correctly fit this canvas. I then placed 3 images of my friends sleeping at the top of the image, and applied the blending modes “Linear Light”, “Luminosity” and “Hard Mix” onto one each respectively. I placed an image of my friends on the bus in the bottom left corner, and used spot healing to remove the damage on the bus seats and my friend’s goatee. I placed an image of me and two of my friends around a campfire, and converted it to a smart object to add a smart filter on it to show a ripple effect.
